Seashore Village

Felixstowe

Gipping worked with East Suffolk Council to create the new Seashore Village on Felixstowe seafront.
The landscaped public space features 27 beach huts, trim trail, fish-shaped lawn, accessible toilets and changing facilities, ramps and a remodelled car park to provide better access.
The project presented some challenges with natural coastal and environmental issues but has enhanced
Felixstowe as a seaside attraction.
